Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Last updated: May 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how AxialProgress, LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on the AxialProgress website at axialprogress.com (the “Service”). It is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to keep you signed in between visits. We also use related technologies (such aslocalStorage) for similar purposes, and we refer to all of these as “cookies” in this policy for simplicity.

Cookies we use

We group cookies by purpose. The list below covers the categories of cookies set on the Service today.

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the Service to work. We can’t turn them off without breaking core functionality.

  • Authentication session cookiesset by Supabase so we can identify you while you’re signed in. These are cleared when you sign out or when the session expires.
  • Security cookies used to prevent cross-site-request-forgery (CSRF) and similar abuse.

Preferences

These remember small choices to make the Service feel like yours.

  • Theme cookie remembers whether you chose light, dark, or system theme so we can render the right one immediately on your next visit.
  • Language cookie remembers your preferred language for the interface.

Security & bot protection

  • Cloudflare cookies (such as __cf_bm) are set by Cloudflare to distinguish humans from bots and protect the Service from abuse. See Cloudflare’s cookie policy for details.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Service is used (which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, what devices they use). We do not use these cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

  • _ga — assigns a pseudonymous identifier so Google Analytics can distinguish unique visitors. Lifetime: 2 years.
  • _ga_M36G5STW2P — persists session state for our specific Google Analytics property. Lifetime: 2 years.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by enabling your browser’s Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signal, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser settings (see “How to control cookies” below). See Google’s privacy policy for details on how Google handles the data.

Cookies we do not use

We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or targeted ads. We do not sell cookie data to third parties.

How to control cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you see what cookies are stored, delete them, and block specific sites or all sites from setting them. Helpful guides:

Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
